The role: Senior/Staff Software Engineer (100% Remote)

Help lead the team powering the future of home buying. You'll ship to production on day one and, within your first month, take on a mission-critical project such as:

• Architecting and launching multi-step AI agents customers use to digitize ops workflows
• Integrating with third-party lending APIs for documents/disclosures, automated underwriting and fraud prevention
• Launching next-generation job-processing infrastructure on AWS for a more observable, reliable backend

What they're looking for

• 7+ years of experience, ideally 5+ at a senior level
• Strong hands-on TypeScript across front and back end; true full-stack
• Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems on AWS with Terraform
• Background at high-growth startups where software was the product
• 2+ year tenures with clear progression; high ownership and output
• Nice to have: AI product development (evals, experiments), security mindset, complex relational schemas, fintech

Tech: TypeScript, React, Node/Express, GraphQL/Apollo, PostgreSQL, AWS (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, Kafka, Elasticsearch), Terraform, monorepo with per-PR staging environments

Compensation: Up to $300K base (senior) / $350K (staff) + stock options

Location: 100% Remote (US/Canada)
