Job Title: Full-stack Tech Lead
Function: IC/ SWE
Level: Staff Engineer +
Location: Austin, TX (hybrid 1 day a week in downtown Austin- remote)
We are seeking an experienced full stack engineer who has successfully led cross functional teams, preferably in a startup environment to help build and scale a video sharing and collaboration platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of engineers to develop and maintain a video sharing platform
- Work with leadership in setting requirements and develop a long-term roadmap
- Propose and implement efficient development workflows for the team
- Support cross functional teams including external vendors
- Create a culture of sound engineering practices, maintainable code, and technical design reviews
- Mentor junior engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven track record of full stack technical leadership, product development cycles, and deployment and release management of complex web applications
- Experience with Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- 7+ years of experience of full-stack development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning tools and techniques
- Experience releasing products in regulated environments
- Experience with data security, privacy and compliance
- Experience in building and/or scaling video sharing platforms
