Senior / Staff Product Engineer (Full-Remote, North America)

Role
Senior or Staff Product Engineer (full-stack, product-focused). You’ll ship customer-facing features end-to-end and help lay the long-term technical foundation.
Location
Remote-first – must be based in North America (US or Canada).
Company gathers in-person every quarter (usually in San Francisco) and maintains small hubs in SF and NYC.
Compensation
- Base salary: $190,000 – $245,000 USD

What you’ll do
- Own and ship major product features from ideation through delivery, working directly with design, PM, CX, and customers
- Take big technical swings while still moving fast and iterating weekly
- Build scalable, flexible core infrastructure to handle complex, company-specific modeling needs
- Help attract, interview, and grow the engineering team
- Shape company culture and ways of working

What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
- Proven ability to ship beautiful, high-quality product experiences quickly
- Strong ownership mindset – you see customer problems through to the best possible solution
- Comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs between speed, scale, and polish
- Excellent collaboration and communication – you’ll work cross-functionally and help define how the team operates
- Staff-level candidates: prior experience leading architecture or large subsystems is a big plus
Bonus points
- Deep expertise in React + TypeScript
- Expertise in Go (Golang)
- Experience scaling large React applications
- Previously founded a company or worked at early-stage startups
- Passion for modern dev tooling, Vercel, or cutting-edge AI integration, etc.
