Senior / Staff Product Engineer (Full-Remote, North America)

Role

Senior or Staff Product Engineer (full-stack, product-focused). You’ll ship customer-facing features end-to-end and help lay the long-term technical foundation.

Location

Remote-first – must be based in North America (US or Canada).

Company gathers in-person every quarter (usually in San Francisco) and maintains small hubs in SF and NYC.

Compensation

• Base salary: $190,000 – $245,000 USD

What you’ll do

• Own and ship major product features from ideation through delivery, working directly with design, PM, CX, and customers
• Take big technical swings while still moving fast and iterating weekly
• Build scalable, flexible core infrastructure to handle complex, company-specific modeling needs
• Help attract, interview, and grow the engineering team
• Shape company culture and ways of working

• Real-time collaboration (branching, comments, presence, conflict resolution)

• Best-in-class data visualization and sharing tools

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
• Proven ability to ship beautiful, high-quality product experiences quickly
• Strong ownership mindset – you see customer problems through to the best possible solution
• Comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs between speed, scale, and polish
• Excellent collaboration and communication – you’ll work cross-functionally and help define how the team operates
• Staff-level candidates: prior experience leading architecture or large subsystems is a big plus

Bonus points

• Deep expertise in React + TypeScript
• Expertise in Go (Golang)
• Experience scaling large React applications
• Previously founded a company or worked at early-stage startups
• Passion for modern dev tooling, Vercel, or cutting-edge AI integration, etc.
