About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team and help build scalable, high-performance systems that power our core products. You’ll work on mission-critical infrastructure, distributed systems, and backend services that handle massive data and traffic.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services.
• Architect and optimize distributed systems to handle large-scale data and traffic.
• Work with databases, caching systems, and messaging queues to ensure low-latency and high-throughput performance.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for production systems.
• Enhance the security, reliability, and performance of backend infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical planning.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, working with large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, C++, Java, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Experience with high-performance, low-latency systems and optimizing for scalability.
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL), caching strategies, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of networking concepts, concurrency, and multithreading.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Bonus Points

• Experience working in a high-growth startup or a top-tier tech company.
• Previous work on real-time systems, financial technology, or large-scale data pipelines.
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading, high-frequency trading, or fixed income markets.
• Background in mathematics or quantitative analysis.
