Manager, Software Engineering

San Francisco (Hybrid)

As the Manager of Software Engineering, you will lead the delivery of next-generation products and manage a global team focused on continuously building and scaling the offering. You’ll be responsible for the technical vision, strategy, and execution of critical software initiatives that drive the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and career development.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute software development projects.
• Collaborate closely with product management to define product roadmaps.

You Bring:

• 5+ years of Python experience.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
• Significant experience working on AI/ML products.
• Proven experience managing and leading engineering product releases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Bonus Points:

• Experience with 0 to 1 product builds.
• Leading globally distributed teams.
• Startup or early-stage company experience.

Compensation:

Base salary range: $200,000 to $250,000 based on experience and location.

Can hire a Staff or Lead level candidates aspiring for a management title.
